Saturday March 29th will see us visit The Lomond Hills over by Falkland in Fife.
Through the beautiful town of Falkland, (those that have watched the series Outlander will recognise) up through Maspie Den & the waterfall, past the site of a Pictish village & up West Lomond for views of Fife, The Forth & towards Edinburgh.
We'll descend to retrace our steps towards Craigmead before taking a route over & up East Lomond (which was at one point a Pictish Hill Fort) to view the other side of Fife over towards Dundee & on a clear day, up towards the big hills up North & on the other side, Leslie & Dunfermline.
Price for the day will be £38 & includes return transport from Broughty Ferry, leaving at 0900 from the parking at the harbour side of Castle Green, a healthy, balanced & nutritious packed lunch (no Tesco meal deals here at UrbanFit!), the guided walk & a stop off afterwards in Falkland at an independent coffee stop or local hostelry at your own expense.
