Thirteen Records

Writer: Andrew BatchelorAndrew Batchelor

Thirteen Records is an independent record store in Dundee, Scotland, offering a vast and eclectic selection of both new and second-hand vinyl records and CDs. With new stock arriving daily, the shop is run by a team with over 70 years of combined experience in the industry. The three owners were long-standing staff members of the legendary Groucho’s store, which closed in March 2020 due to the pandemic. Determined to keep the city’s record-buying culture alive, they launched Thirteen Records on Union Street, drawing inspiration from beloved artists like Big Star for its look and name. Committed to serving Dundee’s music lovers for years to come, Thirteen Records is a must-visit for collectors and casual listeners alike.
