The Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) has just been shortlisted for this year's Art Fund Museum of the Year.
The popular attraction which celebrates 25 years of operation was shortlisted among five other attractions this morning.
The prize recognises outstanding museums in the UK, with a particular focus on audiences and communities at their heart - something which the DCA has been doing for the past 25 years.
Speaking of being shortlisted, the DCA's director Beth Bate said:
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be nominated for this prestigious award in DCA’s 25th birthday year, and to be in such good company with the other shortlisted museums. This recognition of DCA’s work with audiences, artists and communities means so much to us.”
The winner of the Art Fund Museum of the Year will be revealed in July at the National Gallery in London.
