Dundee Contemporary Arts has received a significant boost after securing £1 million in funding from Creative Scotland.
The multi year support will provide stability and development opportunities for the venue up until 2028.
In the latest funding round from CreativeScotland, DCA received £3.95 million intotal across the next four years.
This includes £1.47 million per year between 2026-2028, to ensure the venue can continue supporting local artists, delivering exhibitions, and engaging the community through its diverse programme.
This investment in DCA forms part of a wider investment in Dundee's cultural sector; other organisations that have also been granted funding include Creative Dundee, Dundee Ceramics Workshop, and Generator.
This is timely and welcome funding, with much uncertainty for many arts venues across Scotland at the moment.
It will enable DCA to continue as one of the city's key cultural hotspots through a varied programme of film, exhibitions, workshops and events which draw in audiences from right across Scotland and beyond.
