The popular Danish homewares brand, Søstrene Grene, are preparing to open its latest store in the Overgate tomorrow at 10am.
With anticipation building, a significant number of shoppers are expected to queue ahead of the grand opening.
Located on the upper level of the Overgate, Søstrene Grene will offer an ever-changing range of design classics, inspired by Nordic origins and stylish affordable living.
To celebrate the occasion, Søstrene Grene has organised a series of special events for the public.
The first 100 customers through the doors will receive exclusive gifts.
Additionally, guests can enjoy live entertainment, including performances by the classical string ensemble Nova Quartet and ballet dancers. Light refreshments will also be available throughout the event.
Malcolm Angus, Centre Manager at Overgate, expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition to the shopping centre:

We encourage everyone to arrive early for the grand opening on Friday 16th August at 10:00am – the response has been phenomenal, and it promises to be an exciting occasion with plenty of surprises in store!”
The launch day kicks off from 9:30am, where the Nova Quartet will perform live music, accompanied by ballet dancers, providing a festive atmosphere for those in the queue.
The entertainment will continue throughout the morning, with the Nova Quartet concluding their performance at 11:30am.
The opening of Søstrene Grene in Dundee marks another step in the brand's expansion, bringing its unique blend of Nordic design and affordable living to a new audience.
