Dundee-based video game developers 4J Studios have announced their latest project, a new game titled Reforj.
The studio, best known for its work on popular titles such as Minecraft, revealed that the game will be powered by their new in-house technology, the Elements Engine, developed at their headquarters in Water’s Edge, City Quay.
Currently in its pre-alpha stage, Reforj is still in the early phases of development. However, 4J Studios has highlighted its commitment to working closely with the gaming community to shape the game’s progress.
The developers have expressed excitement about incorporating player feedback into the game's design and mechanics, ensuring it reflects community input as it evolves.
The unveiling of Reforj and the debut of the Elements Engine mark significant milestones for 4J Studios, further cementing Dundee’s reputation as a hub for innovative video game development.
More details about the game and its development are expected in the coming months as the project moves closer to release.
