Dundee’s LIVEHOUSE is lighting up once again, as neon signage has been switched on at its 1930s tower for the first time in decades.
The glowing transformation marks a major milestone for the venue, which is set to officially open its doors on May 4 with the Dundee Dance Event closing party.
But that’s just the beginning—new signage has also appeared on the side of the building, further cementing LIVEHOUSE’s identity in Dundee’s cityscape.
At the back of the venue, neon numbering has been installed to indicate entrances, adding both style and practicality to the revitalised space.
The venue’s columns and the tower next to the main signage will soon be illuminated as well, further enhancing its striking Art Deco architecture.
LIVEHOUSE, a major redevelopment of the historic Greens Playhouse, which originally opened in 1936, is shaping up to become a vibrant new hub for live music, nightlife, and events in Dundee.
With the neon glow now bringing the venue to life, excitement is building for its grand opening and the events to come.
