Idlewild is taking to the stage at LIVEHOUSE Dundee this December

Scottish rock legends Idlewild have been announced as the first act set to perform at LIVEHOUSE, Dundee’s brand-new music and events venue.
The band, known for hits like “American English” and “You Held the World in Your Arms”, will headline the venue on Saturday 6 December 2025, with special guests set to join them on the night.
With this week marking the week LIVEHOUSE goes LIVE!, excitement is already building in Dundee’s music scene. LIVEHOUSE officially opens its doors with Craig Charles performing on Friday 2 May, followed by the closing party of the Dundee Dance Event on Sunday 4 May.
Tickets for both opening events are still available, giving music fans the chance to be among the first to experience the new venue.
Tickets for Idlewild’s December show will go on sale from Friday 2 May at 10am, via official outlets.
Presented by DF Concerts, this performance will see Idlewild bring their signature anthemic sound to Dundee’s latest state-of-the-art venue, promising an unforgettable night for fans both old and new.
