Dundee gift shop Maisie and Mac have announced that they will be shutting up their High Street shop after more than six years of operation, marking the end of an era for both the business and its loyal customers.

A notice was prominently posted on their front window, informing the public that the shop would officially close its doors on 29 March.

This decision comes as part of a strategic move to consolidate operations at their original shop located in Cupar, Fife, where the brand first established its unique identity and charm.

The announcement has been met with a mix of sadness and understanding from the community, who have come to appreciate the distinctive offerings and warm atmosphere that Maisie and Mac provided over the years.

The shop is particularly notable for its eclectic range of products, specialising in quirky gifts that cater to a variety of tastes and occasions.

In addition to these delightful gift items, Maisie and Mac also offered a selection of homeware appliances, art pieces, and decorative items that contributed to the shop's reputation as a go-to destination for those seeking something special and out of the ordinary.

Many customers fondly recall the unique finds they discovered within the cosy confines of the store, making it a beloved part of the Dundee shopping experience.
