Former University of Dundee rector Tony Slattery has died

Tony Slattery, the former University of Dundee rector, has died at the age of 65.


Famed for his sharp wit and electrifying performances on Channel 4's Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Tony brought laughter into many homes with his impeccable comedic timing and charm.


Aside from his television success, Tony had a very special affinity with Dundee, where he was the rector of the University of Dundee between 1998 and 2001.


During this tenure, he represented students' interests with his signature congeniality and charm on campus. Many still remember his glittering persona on campus and his commitment to making student life better.
