Flannels are planning on opening a new store in Dundee at the vacant Argos unit, it has been reported.

As per The Courier, the popular fashion store has submitted proposals to take over the vacant Argos unit on the top floor of the centre,

Flannels is part of Frasers Group which took over ownership of the Overgate.

The announcement of the news comes as the company’s flagship store, Frasers, plan on opening in the former Debenhams unit early next year.

The Dundee store will be the fourth of its kind in Scotland, after openings in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Livingston.
