
Dundee’s newest live entertainment venue, LIVEHOUSE, is officially opening its doors on Friday, May 2, with a DJ set from Craig Charles, bringing a night of funk and soul to mark the occasion.
Located on the site of the former Greens Playhouse and MECCA Bingo, LIVEHOUSE aims to become a major player in Scotland’s music and events scene. The venue will initially hold 2,150 people, with plans to expand its capacity to 4,500 in the future.
The grand opening event will also feature DJ Patty (All Night Passion) and more acts yet to be announced.

The night, which kicks off at 7pm and concludes at midnight, promises an electrifying atmosphere as LIVEHOUSE kicks off its journey as a new hub for music, culture, and live experiences in Dundee.
The Early Bird tickets are available for £16.50 (£15.00 plus £1.50 in fees and taxes), providing the most affordable option for those who secure their spots in advance.
Following this, the 1st Release tickets are priced at £22.00 (£20.00 plus £2.00 in fees and taxes), allowing attendees another opportunity to book at a mid-range price.
Finally, the Final Release tickets, which represent the last chance to purchase entry, are available for £27.50 (£25.00 plus £2.50 in fees and taxes).
With prices increasing as the event approaches, attendees are encouraged to book early to secure the best deal.
