Dundee's Eden Project is about to take to the next stage as environmental improvement works are due to take place on site.
In a letter given to residents around the Eden Project site at the former gasworks, Dundee City Council revealed that contractors will be visible on site as the anticipated attraction is set to be given approval imminently.
The work will commence on 13 May each day from 8am to 6pm on Monday to Fridays, and 8am to 1pm on Saturday's.
This is another good sign that Eden Project Dundee will be going ahead.
The formal planning process commenced last year which included consultations being hosted in-person and online in the city.
During the Courier’s Business Event Conference, which was held last month at the Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc, it was revealed that Eden Project would open by 2030, instead of the initial 2026 target.
It was also proposed that a new rail platform would be built in the vicinity of the site and could generate up to £27m a year for Dundee’s economy.
