Dundee's D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum, much loved by the city, is once again opening its doors to the public this month, offering a rare opportunity to view its amazing collection of natural history specimens.
Named for D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson, the University of Dundee's first Professor of Biology and a pioneer in the field, the museum features an remarkable assortment of artefacts from all over the world.
With delicate marine life exhibitions to colourful animal skeletons from distant lands, much of the collection was gathered by Thompson himself during his lifetime of scientific inquiry.

Visitors are requested to enter through the main front door of the Carnelley Building, at the rear of the Tower Building on the University campus.
Future opening dates of the museum are 13 April, 11 May, 8 June, and so on, throughout the year for anyone wanting to explore the astounding wonders of the natural world.
