Dundee is hosting the Scottish Esports League Invitationals at Dundee and Angus College’s Gardyne Campus ahead of the sixth edition of the tournament.
The invitationals will see the semi-finals and the finals of CounterStrike and Valorant take place.
The tournament comes as Dundee continues to build as an esports hub, with Dundee and Angus College continuing to help build the industry in the city.
What is SEL?
Scottish Esports League (or SEL for short) is an esports competition which is hosted in Scotland. It is part of a wider movement of esports competitions which is growing in popularity
Dundee was the first city to host the Scottish Esports League on two consecutive occasions, SEL4 in 2021 and then SEL5 in 2022 - and will host SEL6 following the invitationals.
Dundee Culture teamed up with Esports Scotland, now eRena Sports, to promote the SEL4 championships that were hosted at the DCA.
