Dundee has saw the largest increase in romantic city breaks interest in Scotland

Dundee has witnessed the sharpest spike in people's intentions for Valentine's Day romantic breaks, using new search engine analysis.


Experts from Together Travel found that interest in romantic city breaks in Dundee rose 27.1% from 2023 to 2024, states the research analyzing 1,063 related key terms. It increased from 3,360 times a month on average in 2023 to 4,270 searches in 2024.


In second place, Aberdeen recorded a far more modest rise, at 7.7%, while third was Edinburgh with a 5.6% rise.


On a national level, Scotland witnessed the second-highest increase in Valentine's getaway searches, matched by England, with both recording a 4.5% uplift.
