Dundee has been named as the most affordable city in the UK, according to a new report by Shepherd's Friendly.
The research analysed 39 cities across the country, focusing on average property prices and monthly utility costs.
The findings revealed that Dundee offers the most budget-friendly option for prospective homebuyers, with an average property price of £128,250 and monthly utility costs of £186.19.
The study also highlighted that three Scottish cities ranked among the top ten for affordability. Aberdeen claimed the sixth spot, with average house prices at £140,000 and monthly utility costs of £263.78.
Glasgow followed in seventh place, where homebuyers can expect to pay an average of £150,125 for a property, along with utilities costing £280.48 per month.
These results showcase Scotland's competitive property market, making it an attractive destination for those seeking affordable housing options in the UK.
