Dundee Culture’s website is winding down for the festive season

Picture: SYKE

As the festive season approaches, Dundee Culture takes a backseat to take some much-needed downtime.

Run on a shoestring, managed single-handedly, there will be fewer articles appearing throughout December on the website, though not altogether silent, highlighting events, stories, and insight into Dundee's rich cultural tapestry.

Readers can look forward to quality over quantity from historical features to local highlights during this period.

Dundee Culture will post once daily on social media, keeping the page active but having some time to unwind.

This does not apply to partnership content and special days such as Christmas Day and Hogmanay, or if there is important news to be updated.

This will ensure a balance in which followers are informed without compromising on the holiday feel.

Full operations will resume in January, bringing a fresh wave of content and stories to celebrate Dundee's vibrant culture.

Until then, Dundee Culture will continue to share the spirit of the city, though at a gentler pace, as it prepares for an exciting year ahead.
