Dundee's Christmas is thrilled to announce the commencement of its search for a local charity partner, aiming to support the essential work of a deserving charity and contribute back to the Dundee community.

This unique partnership presents an incredible opportunity for a local charity to receive a generous donation of 200 tickets for Dundee's Christmas, valued at approximately £3000, in addition to a priceless family Santa Experience. These tickets can either be distributed among the families the charity serves or utilized to raise crucial funds through auctions.

As Dundee’s Christmas gears up to welcome visitors to a magical winter wonderland, this initiative underscores their dedication to making a significant impact in Dundee by spreading joy and supporting communities in need.

The search officially commences on November 1, 2024. Charitable organisations are encouraged to nominate themselves by emailing Dundee's Christmas or commenting on the Charity Partnership post on the Dundee's Christmas Facebook or Instagram pages.

All nominations must be submitted by November 5, 2024. A shortlist will be created based on the popularity of the nominees.

The shortlisted charities will be presented to the public for a vote via Dundee's Christmas social media channels.

The charity partner, selected by popular vote, will be revealed on November 13, 2024.

For charities to be eligible, they need to be registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and possess a valid charity number, be actively involved in supporting and enriching the lives of communities within the Dundee area.

Jonathan Brown, Director of Marketing and Business Development at NL Productions, expressed his excitement for the initiative, emphasising the desire for Dundee's Christmas to be a positive force for the community. Lord Provost of Dundee Bill Campbell also commended the efforts to ensure inclusivity in Dundee's Christmas celebrations.

This initiative further solidifies Dundee's Christmas commitment to giving back and brightening the lives of those in need. Join in on this exciting journey to make a positive impact on the Dundee community.
