Doof in the Park: 10,000 tickets have been sold for Hannah Laing's Dundee dance event

Dundee's highly anticipated new festival, Doof In The Park, has already surpassed a major milestone, with over 10,000 tickets sold for the event set to take place next summer.

The festival, which will be held in Camperdown Park on Saturday, 5 July 2025, is the brainchild of boundary-pushing DJ, producer, and label head Hannah Laing.

Best known for her anthemic records and electrifying performances at major festivals like Creamfields, Terminal V, Warehouse Project, and Parklife, Laing is now stepping into the role of festival founder and curator. Teaming up with EE Live, the team behind Terminal V, she is bringing her musical vision to her hometown of Dundee, where the festival is expected to draw thousands of revellers for a day of high-energy dance music.

The rapid sale of over 10,000 tickets highlights the excitement surrounding the event, which promises to be a landmark moment in Scotland’s festival calendar.

The festival will feature three stages of non-stop music, with a mix of classic names from the Hard House and Trance scenes, alongside emerging talents. Known for her distinct blend of hard house, techno, and trance, Hannah Laing is set to take the crowd on a sonic journey like no other.

Hannah, who grew up in a house filled with house and trance music thanks to her "raver parents," has quickly become one of the UK’s hottest DJ talents. Following the launch of her label doof, two sold-out shows at Dundee’s Caird Hall, and a sell-out performance at SWG3’s Galvanizers Yard, doof In The Park marks the next big step in her evolving career.

Speaking about the festival, Hannah Laing said,

“doof In The Park, it feels crazy even seeing those words! To be bringing a festival to my home town with my own brand is an absolute dream come true! Bringing everyone together where I have lived all my life is going to be special and great for the city! Home show atmospheres are unmatched, especially with the crazy Scottish crowds! See you in the park! doof for life!”

As the countdown to 5 July begins, Dundee is gearing up to welcome thousands of festivalgoers for what promises to be a day of unforgettable beats, basslines, and the unmatched energy of a Scottish crowd. With the full line-up set to be revealed later this year, the festival is expected to sell out in advance.

For those eager to experience this unique celebration of freedom, community, and music, tickets are available now through at www.doofinthepark.com.

Prepare for a festival that will put Dundee firmly on the map as a top destination for dance music lovers.
