Dens and Tannadice once again get recognised after stadium distance debate erupts

In a recent tweet, the English Barmy Army raised the question of whether Nottingham's sports grounds are two of the closest.

However, this statement has sparked a debate on social media, with many pointing out the proximity between Dens Park and Tannadice in Dundee.

After posting, the tweet had several replies which brought up the distance between Dens and Tannadice:

While Nottingham's City Ground and Meadow Lane are situated just 300 meters apart, Dens Park and Tannadice in Dundee are even closer.

The two football stadiums in Dundee are separated by a mere 100 meters, making them arguably one of the closest pair of football grounds in Europe.

Social media users have been quick to weigh in on the debate, with many Scottish football fans asserting that Dens Park and Tannadice hold the title for two of the closest grounds in Europe.

As the discussion continues to unfold online, it remains clear that the proximity of sports grounds can spark passionate conversations and friendly rivalries among fans across Europe.
