A cool new behind-the-scenes video posted by the Evening Telegraph just gave viewers a fascinating look inside Discovery Print, the state-of-the-art newspaper printing facility at DC Thomson’s Kingsway plant in Dundee.

One of the Evening Telegraph’s video journalists was granted special access to the site, showcasing the impressive process of printing thousands of copies every day to ensure Dundonians get their daily news fresh off the press each morning and in the evening.

Considered to be "the most modern newspaper printing site" in the UK, Discovery Print continues to play a crucial role in keeping local journalism alive, producing not just the Tele, but also other DC Thomson titles, including The Courier and The Sunday Post.

DC Thomson are celebrating their 120th anniversary next month - and has played a huge role in helping establish the third J in Dundee's historic "three J's" - jute, jam and journalism.
