Clarks is set to return to Dundee with a new shop in the Overgate

One of the leading footwear retailers, Clarks is planning to make a comeback to Dundee with the opening of a new store in the Overgate Shopping Centre in April next year, the Courier has reported.

The new Clarks store will join a growing list of high-profile additions to the Overgate, with Frasers and Mango set to open in 2025.

It marks an exciting period of growth for the city's retail offering with the Overgate continuing to attract major brands.

Clarks used to have a store in Dundee but closed its Murraygate branch several years ago.

Its new store marks a new investment in the city, where shoppers will be able to browse a range of the iconic footwear for all ages.

More details on the opening will be released over the next few months.
