A YouTuber has declared Dundee as Scotland’s most underrated airport in a new video.

WorldWide Dom, who has 10,000 subscribers on the platform, published the video earlier today and claimed that visiting Dundee Airport was his most requested video.

He took a flight from Dundee to Heathrow via Loganair.

In the video, he explored the terminal building, taking viewers on a journey from check-in, right through to take off and landing in Heathrow.

Some of the comments to the video were very positive about not just the airport, but the city as well.

A Glaswegian who commented on the video stated that Dundee was “massively underrated” and that it was time that the city deserved a bigger airport.

Others who commented expressed delight that the airport was being highlighted and that it deserved more recognition despite its size.

This was something that Dom himself commented upon in the video, exclaiming that the airport needs more recognition, and he jokingly questioned whether he should start a petition to reinstate the Belfast route.

Dundee Airport only operates three routes which are all domestic. The closest airport to Dundee which has international flights is Edinburgh which is roughly 50 miles away.

FLY Edinburgh was launched by Xplore Dundee, the city’s local bus company which has since become very popular and as of today, continues to expand its operations.

Dom commented, that as an Aberdonian, he was rooting for Dundee.
