A Reddit user just asked what Dundee’s equivalent of Glasgow’s Duke of Wellington statue with a traffic cone is

A Reddit user posted a question on the platform asking fellow Redditors what Dundee’s equivalent to Glasgow’s Traffic Cone on the Duke of Wellington was - and the responses didn’t disappoint.

One_Tumbleweed_565 took to Reddit and asked the burning question which garnered a few interesting responses.

One user said the Nethergate Penguins were possibly the closet equivalent due to the fact that they have clothes added on to them at various times of the year.

Another said Desperate Dan having tin foil placed on his head. Whilst a third suggested the polar bear statue having objects placed around it.

Dundee’s jif tree was also mentioned, as well as postage stamps placed on James Chalmers’ statue in the city’s Albert Square, with Chalmers being known as the inventor of the adhesive postage stamp.

Some humorous responses were also added including trolleys in Dundee’s burns.

Fair to say that the responses didn’t disappoint!
