A new music festival which is set to take place over two days this summer has been announced for Dundee - and it is being hosted at a variety of venues around the city.

The Dundee Music Festival was just announced on Instagram this afternoon with a new account for the event revealing all the goss!

What is the Dundee Music Festival

The Dundee Music Festival will be a two day event held during the May Bank Holiday weekend. It will consist of two types: live music on Saturday 3, and DJs on Sunday 4.

The main aim of the festival according to the organisers is to “bring Dundee’s city centre back to life”.

The festival will also include acoustic sets as well.

Where is it being held?

Events organised by the Dundee Music Festival will be held throughout Dundee, in venues such as Groucho’s, CHURCH, Medina, Casa, the Dubliner among just a few.

Each venue will showcase their own style with an “unbeatable atmosphere”.

How much will it cost?

It will be FREE to attend over the two days! So it is open and accessible to anyone!

Can any venue still join?

Yes. The Dundee Music Festival are currently still allowing any venue to participate in the festival. They encourage anyone interested to get in touch with them by visiting their Instagram page.
