Dundee Tay Square is hosting a new addition to its list of eateries, with a steakhouse.

Don Padrino opened for the first time on the site of the former Tayberry restaurant last week.

Its proximity to Dundee Rep Theatre means it is handily placed for anyone looking to go out for a meal either before or after the theatre.

The restaurant dons (no pun intended) mafia-inspired posters and mug shots of famous and notorious gangsters.

The current menu of the restaurant includes steak and seafood, with the use of local produce wherever possible.

Don Padrino is operated by the same team behind the well-known Italian restaurant on Perth Road, Don Michele.

With experience in the food industry and offering a diverse range of dishes on its menu, Don Padrino is seeking to become the top destination in Dundee for those who love steak and seafood.
