To mark the momentous occasion of Ninewells Hospital's 50th anniversary, an exciting initiative has been launched - The Foundation 50 Challenge.
This challenge invites participants to embark on a 50-day fitness journey starting from the 3 September and culminating on the official 50th anniversary on the 23 October.
Participants are encouraged to set personal fitness goals for the 50-day duration, aiming to improve their health and well-being while supporting a noble cause.
The primary objective of the Foundation 50 Challenge is to raise funds to enhance the health and well-being of the people in Tayside, benefiting both current and future generations.
Here's how it works:
Set Your Personal Goal: Choose your own challenge, whether it's walking/running 50km, swimming 50 lengths, cycling 50 miles, reaching 10,000 steps daily, it’s up to youlocall
Raise for a Great Cause: During the easy sign-up process, you'll create a dedicated JustGiving page to receive donations from friends, family, and supporters. Remember, every penny raised stays local and directly benefits NHS Tayside!
Double Your Impact: The NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation is committed to your efforts! For participants who raise a fantastic £1,000, the Foundation will generously contribute an additional £500 to your total!
Whether you are running 50km in 50 days, walking 10,000 steps daily, swimming 50 lengths, or cycling 50 miles, any way in taking part is up to you! Find out more here!
Donations will directly benefit the local community, and participants who raise £1,000 will receive an additional £500 towards their total.
