A Group Of Inspiring Stroke Survivors In Dundee Are Celebrating With An Open Day



A group of stroke survivors are celebrating their achievements of their members by hosting an open day later this month.


Dundee Stroke Exercise Club (DSEC), a community based group that works alongside Leisure and Culture Dundee, has been running life-changing classes for several years now.


Having hosting classes at Douglas Sports Centre and Menzieshill Community Hub, the DSEC have saw an increase in membership.


The club offers a safe and supportive space for stroke survivors to exercise, regardless of ability and/or mobility.


Open afternoon 'will celebrate achievements'


The group will be hosting an open afternoon on Saturday 27 April in Douglas Sports Centre which the club state "will celebrate the achievements of its members".


The event is free for all to attend. There will be display area, the opportunity to meet the crew and the opportunity to sample some, less strenuous, exercises.
